Welcome to the brand new JCAC website! We’re still wrapping up some details, but here it is!
We have built this website on the WordPress platform, which is the most popular blog and content management system in the world. This will allow several of you with basic computer skills to contribute content, news and updates on your own. It will also allow feedback and comments from parents, swimmers and board members, and let everyone add a little something. A website’s first purpose is to be useful.
In addition, there are many hundreds of plug-ins that can make adding new features quite a bit easier and faster than before. We’ve installed a Gallery plug-in for photos, so start collecting pics that you would like to feature in the online albums! We also plan to have some of the registration forms available to fill out and submit online.
There might be a little out-of-date content carried over from the old website, but we are replacing it with current information. There may be a few broken links here and there, but we’ll get them all connected. We will be tweaking it for a while. Please contact me with questions or comments.
